While it seems Nicole's love-life is what gets the most press (11 year marriage to Tom Cruise and current marriage to country singer Keith Urban ) she is a wonderful actress with a long list of film credits to her name. Her early career was in TV in Australia but her US debut came with a great performance in Dead Calm opposite Sam Neill and Billy Zane. The following year she starred with Tom Cruise in Days of Thunder which not only lead to her relationship with Tom but got her a nice bit of notice due to the success of the film. Nicole went on to star in such films as Billy Bathgate, Far and Away, To Die For, Batman Forever, The Peacemaker, Practical Magic, Eyes Wide Shut, Moulin Rouge!, The Others, The Hours, Cold Mountain, The Interpreter, Bewitched, The Invasion and several others. Currently, Nicole has several projects coming up including the slightly controversial The Golden Compass, Australia, The Reader, The Lady From Shanghi and Need.
